  • RIDE 2017

Thank YOU - with all of our hearts!  We had a terrific Ride 2017 weekend!

It's hard to believe we are on the other side of our 19th Ride! Mother Nature cooperated nicely (it's about time!) with 61ish degree temps, partly cloudy...and dry!  The new addition of the Black Diamond Trail and comments have been very positive!  Thank you, so much, for all of the wonderful, heartfelt acts of generosity in countless ways from all of you. Your spirit, determination and support has strengthened our commitment to our clients, programs, services, our community and our event.

The Ride happens and is successful because of you.  Riders, Community Partners, Pit Stop Coordinators, Motorcycle & SAG support, Tompkins Radio Guys, Medical Assistants, T-Burg Rotary Cooking Crew, Volunteers, Set Up & Clean up crews, Massage Therapists, Cheerleaders, Vendors..... "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."  ~ Helen Keller.   We could not do this without you.

You all have helped raise over $205,000 and our fundraising total continues to climb and will right into December.  Donations were made from 46 states and 10 countries outside the USA - a loud and clear message regarding the importance of STAP's work. So much generosity and many thoughtful comments have come our way; the worst pandemic - HIV/AIDS -  and the worst drug crisis - opiates - of our lifetime has brought out the best in our community.  Riders from 15 states joined forces with STAP and local businesses. Combining those groups with Volunteers from many walks of life; all came together giving time, money, hands and hearts.
