Exciting news in our community! I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the 1st Annual Binghamton Marathon Festival. On May 29, the City of Binghamton, Confluence Running and the Southern Tier AIDS Program will host a double marathon and all day festival – the Ride for Life 26.2, A Cycling Marathon and the Herald of Victory Marathon race, USATF sanctioned. Proceeds will go to the Southern Tier AIDS Program, Local Veteran’s Support Group and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
Our mission is to improve the physical and financial health of our community by drawing tourism while supporting the very important work of STAP and assisting our Heroes as needed.
About the Ride For Life 26.2 – A 26.2 mile cycling tour for all levels of cycling experience. Riders will lead the course followed by the runners. Cycling is an all age sport and we want to make 2016 the year of the bike riding movement in our community! To Ride - register here - www.Rideforlifemarathon.eventbrite.com
About the Herald of Victory Marathon – Binghamton’s largest road race and USATF sanctioned. This means runners can qualify for events such as the Boston Marathon via this race. To race or volunteer: www.heraldofvictorymarathon.com
